Monitoring of Light Emissions
To you as an authority, community, municipality, canton, nature park - or as a citizen - we offer to evaluate light emissions and take measures.- Measurements of Light and Darkness quantify light levels and document the current state
and/or temporal trends. In case thresholds or guide values are exceeded, clear step-by-step action
plans will be provided.
This is particularly useful for selective measurements, like excessive lightings often found with advertisings, gas stations, car parkings or sport grounds. The same is true for brightening up living and sleeping space, which impacts quality of life.

an analysis of light emissions in the perimeter documents the current state and past trends.
It enables comaprisons and action plans, and will be provided in an easy-to-understand report.

Special concerns require special attention!-
For larger entities such as counties, cantons, nature parks or star parks,
we offer tailored measurements, consultancy and support for implementation.
We also operate all-sky cameras and sky quality metering in order to continually record natural darkness.

For new constructions, we are able to estimate the prospectve light emissions
from the lighting plans. For road constructions, this includes additional illumunations
due to car head lamps. This allows to pre-emptively adapt plans—with no need for costly late rectifications.
